Seared Ahi Tuna Steaks

Ingredients:
2 (5 oz.) ahi tuna steaks
1 tsp. kosher salt
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
½ tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. whole peppercorns
Directions:
Dry off tuna steaks with paper towels and sprinkle salt and cayenne pepper on both sides.
In a cast iron skillet set over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppercorns soften and pop.
Place the seasoned tuna gently in the skillet and cook for 1 1/2 minutes per side, depending on how you like your fish.
To serve, cut the tuna into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
