Total Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
Two rainbow trout fillets
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
Two sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil
One fresh jalapeno pepper, sliced
One lemon, sliced
Directions:
The oven should be preheated to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Rinse fillets and pat them dry. Season the fillets with black pepper, garlic salt, and olive oil. On a sizable piece of aluminum foil, arrange each fillet. Slices of jalapeño should be placed on top, and lemon juice should be squeezed over the fillets. Place the remainder of the lemon slices atop the fillets.
To create enclosed packets, carefully seal the foil along all edges. On a baking sheet, arrange the packs.
Depending on the size of the fillets, bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
